About Bytics Lab · an independent technology practice

I build the whole picture, not just the visible layer.

I’m Lalan Kumar Lalitesh—a developer and solutions architect with more than 22 years of experience turning complicated business needs into dependable digital products.

Bytics Lab is deliberately personal. You work directly with the person understanding the problem, making the technical decisions and remaining accountable after launch.

The path here

Experience earned by staying close to the work.

The tools have changed many times. The useful part has been learning how to ask better questions, recognise risk early and keep technology in service of the business.

  1. 2006 — 2020

Technical leadership, with hands still on the product

As Technical Head at E-FusionSoft Technologies, I led developers and designers across the full lifecycle—from requirements and estimation through architecture, code review, QA and delivery. The work crossed healthcare, fitness, retail, nonprofit and industrial organisations.

Leadership never meant stepping away from implementation. I stayed hands-on for critical accounts, translating between commercial priorities, interface decisions and the technical systems underneath them.

  2. 2020 — today

An independent practice built around direct accountability

Today I partner directly with agencies, founders and business owners across Norway, the UK, the USA and India. Engagements range from product architecture and complex commerce to SaaS platforms, applied AI, cloud delivery and security reviews.

The common thread is continuity: one person retains the context from the first conversation through delivery, documentation, training and the improvements that follow real-world use.

What experience changes

Less theatre. Better decisions. Stronger systems.

Experience should make a project calmer—not more complicated. These are the practical differences clients should feel.

  • Direction

The problem gets shaped before the solution gets expensive.

Requirements, constraints and hidden dependencies are clarified early so effort goes into the right product and the right first release.

  • Perspective

Business, experience and technology stay connected.

Architecture is considered alongside customer journeys, team workflows, content operations and the commercial reality around the platform.

  • Delivery

Trade-offs are visible and progress remains understandable.

Decisions are explained in plain language, work is delivered in useful increments and ownership never disappears between specialists.

  • Continuity

Launch is a milestone, not the end of responsibility.

Security, performance, observability, documentation and ongoing improvement are treated as part of building a dependable product.

Long relationships are the best measure of the work.

More than 70% of the practice’s work comes from returning clients. Many are in Norway, alongside agencies and businesses in the UK, the USA and India.

“A good technical partner should reduce the amount of explaining you need to do the next time.”
